I realized that when I lost a bunch of weight years ago it was because I exercised.  I did not focus on diet per se, but more on weight lifting and building muscle.  I remember seeing a statistic that for every 3 pounds of muscle you build your metabolism increases by 7%.  So all this month for the last 13 days I have been doing muscle building exercises in the morning for about 15 minutes.

I have been doing push ups, leg lifts, squats, arm circles, etc.   I hate aerobics and running.  So I am just focused on the muscle building.  I have still been taking alli using the double dose.  I have also cut out all the sugar.  No more soda and sweets.  I have lost about 5 pounds since the beginning of the month this way.  I just hope I can continue with it and keep it off.   I bought some jeans last week that were size 18.  They were too tight.  I have  no returned them because I think in about a week or so they will fit me fine if I can keep up with my new routine.

Motivating to exercise is very hard for me.  Like I said I have always hated running and aerobics.  Partly, because I am big breasted and that results in a lot of uncomfortable bouncing no matter what kind of sports bra I wear.  When I was in basic training I wore a regular bra and 2 sports bras at once to keep the bouncing from getting out of hand.   The muscle building exercises are easy enough.  I do most of them in front of the computer in the morning while watching youtube or something.  I will post my progress.
